Hello! We are very excited here in Wolverhampton, UK, as we build up to this year’s UNday event. We at West Park Primary loved participating in this last year. We are reminded of the importance of opportunities like this for children and young people to declare what kind of world they want to inhabit. Long may this continue. Seeing children talking about peace and striving for worldwide happiness always makes me feel better. They give us the hope that someday there would be no wars and that we could all live together peacefully. I wish all people thought like these beautiful children!
I strongly believe that there is no point of fighting against each other. There should be a peace on our planet for internity. People should help each other. Everything depends on us and our actions.

Vi har firat FN-dagen på vår skola idag. Vi har haft en sångsamling och vi har Skype-pratat med en klasskompis som flyttat till Hong Kong och så har vi gått igenom vilka Artiklar som vi tycker är de 3 viktigaste i Barnkonventionen.

Also copied you at RST 569 using my laptop running “SAQ Rx” software and same antenna – this was slightly easier copy than the hardware set up due to less noise pick up.

It was a very nice initiative to put the old Grimeton transmitter on the air to celebrate the UN day. I was able to listen between 10:15 and 10:40 hours UTC on 17.2 kHz. I was just using a small miniwhip antenna and a Perseus SDR receiver. You can listen to the tune up, I’ve recorded at http://goo.gl/bKRR3 and also the whole transmission at http://goo.gl/MqDf9. It would be very nice to receive the participation certificate.
